A young team comprised of U-13 and U-15 players went out to the Westtown School on 11/17 to compete in the Pumpkin Pie Tournament U-15 Division.  Playing together for the first time, these boys developed an instant chemistry on offense and defense.

First up was PYLA.  Shamrocks got after them from the opening faceoff and never looked back.  Leading the way on offense was Jim Moretti (3 goals) and Ryan Ondo (2 goals).  On the defensive front, Shayne Fallon was a rock in net (1 GAA) with great support from the entire defense.  Jared Albano and Alex Herrman had strong performances at close defense.  Final Score: Shamrocks 11  PYLA 1.

Next up was Braveheart Highlanders.  Both teams were looking forward to this game, as Braveheart and Shamrocks are comprised of many players from South Jersey.  Offensively, Devon Cower was the man (4 goals).  Devon also helped control the game with an outstanding performance at faceoffs.  Defensively, Dante Venuto and Andrew Klitchko (both U-13) really stepped up to shore up as solid defensive performance.  Final Score: Shamrocks 6  Braveheart 2

The final game was against Lehigh Valley Outlaws.  This team appeared as though they would be challenge as they were big and comprised of all U-15 players.  Shamrocks got on the board first with a great goal by LSM Gio Gismondi.  Offensively, we had alot of balance in this game with contributions from Joel Scerbo, Ben Smith, Donovan Shannon and more.  Bailey Pringle and Luke Lillie were scrappy btween the boxes pushing the ball and creating opportunities.  Jake Solem led the way on defense with another strong performance by Shayne Fallon between the pipes (2 GAA).  Final Score: Shamrocks 7 Lehigh Valley 2

All told, this young team showed alot of grit and determination en route to a 3 and 0 day with 24 goals for and 5 against.  Well done gentleman.
