Girls Program Overview

What to Expect as a Member of our Girls Program

Our Program Goals:
1. To create a positive lacrosse experience that will develop your child as lacrosse player and more importantly, as a person.
2. To prepare your child, as a lacrosse player, to compete with the best players in his age group.
3. To teach valuable life lessons such as good sportsmanship, teamwork, maturity and competitiveness.
4. To honor the game and promote the sport of lacrosse in our local community.
5. To prepare your child for the challenge of playing high level high school and college lacrosse.
6. To continue to foster the fraternity of lacrosse in the South Jersey region.

How our goals are accomplished :

FALL: 

Updated for 2023-2024 Season: All Shamrocks Youth Girls Team Players will have the opportunity to participate in 2-3 local, one day lacrosse tournaments or play days depending on your age group.  All teams will participate in 4 to 6 team practices and/or training sessions (not to conflict with fall sports)  Note: 2033/34 may or may not play in fall tourneys depending on player availability. 

High School aged players will participate in 3 high level recruiting tournaments.  Note: The 2025 and 2026 teams will also have the opportunity to play at the President's Cup in Bradenton, FL this November. 

These events will be included in your registration. 

WINTER: 

Winter is a lighter season for us.  All players will have the opportunity to attend 3-4 training sessions (included) throughout the winter.  It is also recommended that all players should also participate in *positional training programs offered based on their availability.     These *sessions are not included in your registration.

SPRING:

All players will have team practices on Sundays in the spring.  These practices will not conflict with your SJYLL schedule. 

SUMMER: 

All players will have Team Practices one to two days per week.  

Shamrocks High School players will participate in 4 high level Recruiting Tournaments.

Shamrocks Middle School players (2028-2031) will participate in 4 very competitive regional tournaments.    The 2032-2033/34 girls will participate in 3 very competitive regional tournaments.

Pricing Model:

Our pricing model includes everything listed above (uniforms, apparel, tournament entry fees, coaching, practices, insurance, etc).  Parents of a 2033/34(youth) player can expect to invest $800- $1200 annually for their child.  Parents of a 2028-2032 (youth) player can expect to invest $1600-$2200 annually for their child.  Parents of a 2025-2027 (High School) player can expect to invest $1800 to $2400 annually for their child. 

We do not charge a separate fee for each tournament, uniforms, fall, winter or summer training/practices, etc.  Our fee is one set fee which covers everything except for optional/additional events.  All registration fees are broken down into 3 payments spread out through the following 9 months.

Locations:

Boys and Girls Teams- Will practice in Gloucester County and the surrounding area.
