High School Boys Program Overview

Notes from 2019 Summer- Transitioned from B to A division in the 2019 summer.  Highly competitive in all games.  Will continue with A division play in 2020. 

Fall:

Updated for 2019-20: All Shamrocks players will have the opportunity to participate in 2 local, one day lacrosse tournaments. 

High School aged players will participate in high level recruiting tournaments. 

Updated for 2019-20: All players will participate in team practices in the fall on Sundays.  The practices are designed so that players can and should participate in other sports (typically Sunday evenings).   High School players will also participate in the Shamrocks Spotlight Series.  The Spotlight Series is a high level training session coached and run by current NCAA college coaches.

Winter: 

Shamrocks players will participate in our Winter Training Academy including  individual skill development and positional training.   These sessions will focus on developing and reinforcing critical skill sets that will apply to the field game.  These sessions will are designed so that you can and should play additional sports.

Spring:

Individual Recruiting Meetings

Summer:

All players will have Team Practices one to two days per week.  All players and teams will have Skill Development Sessions one day per week. 

Shamrocks High School players will participate in 4 high level Recruiting Tournaments.

Boys Team Structure

Attack:4-5
Middies: 6-7,
Fogos: 1-2
LSM: 1-2,
Defense: 5
Goalies: 1-2
One Team per Age Group.  At least 2 Coaches per team.  Positional Coaches including Fogo and Goalie Coaches.

'22 Stiefel Commits to NCAA DI Robert Morris University

Congrats are in order for 2022 Midfielder Ryan Stiefel on his recent commitment to NCAA DI Robert Morris University.  RMU is located in Western Pennsylvania and competes in the Northeast Conference against teams such as St. Joe's University, Bryant University and Sacred Heart University.  Last season (2021) Robert Morris played an abbreviated season (Covid) and finished with 7 Wins and 6 Losses. 

Ryan started training with the Shamrocks in 2nd grade and moved onto a Shamrocks team as soon as he was eligible to do so.  He became the the offensive leader on the 2022 team.  Ryan is a two- sport (soccer and lacrosse) athlete at Paul VI High School in Haddonfield.   His dedication, selflessness and focus will translate well to the college level and will help the Colonials continue to improve towards their goal of a NCAA Division I Championship.  There is no doubt Ryan can be an impact player at Robert Morris University.   We are very proud of you Ryan and know you will do great things!

'22 Exley commits to Lynn University

Congrats are in order for 2022 Hannah Exley on her recent commitment to NCAA DII Lynn University.   Lynn University is located in Boca Raton, FL and competes in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) against teams such as the University of Tampa, Florida Southern and Rollins College. 

Hannah is a hard-working, dedicated lacrosse player that has played with the Shamrocks Girls Program for the past 2 years.  Hannah plays with passion, determination and is a great teammate and friend to everyone on the squad.  She has a strong IQ and works hard to make everyone else around her better.  Hannah brings strong versatility to the game being a fantastic attacker and draw specialist.  There is no doubt that Lynn U is getting a good one! 

In the spring, Hannah plays lacrosse for Paul VI HS.

'22 McCullough commits to High Point University

Congrats are in order for 2022 Defenseman Aiden McCullough on his recent commitment to NCAA DI High Point University.  High Point is located in North Carolina and competes in the Southern  Conference against teams such as Jacksonville University, Air Force University and Richmond University.  Last season ( 2021) High Point won the SoCon Championship and made it into the NCAA tournament before losing to Duke 16-10. 

Aiden has played for the Shamrocks 2022 team since 3rd grade and was the leader on defense.  Aiden is a two- sport (football and lacrosse) athlete at Clearview Regional HS and a dedicated student athlete with a high level of determination that will fit in well with the Panthers!  His dedication, tenacity and focus  will translate well to the college level and will help the Pant continue to improve towards their goal of a NCAA Division I Championship.  There is no doubt Aiden can be an impact player at High Point University.   We are very proud of you Aiden and know you will do great things!
