Shamrocks Welcome Girls Coach Sechrist

We are very excited to welcome Coach Erica Sechrist to the Shamrocks Girls Program!

Erica Sechrist joins the Shamrocks by way of Glen Ridge High School where she was an Assistant Coach for the past 6 seasons (2011-2016), helping the team to two Group 1 State Championships and three Essex County Titles

Prior to coaching at Glen Ridge HS, Erica played field hockey and lacrosse at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA.  In 2008, Erica lead the Greyhounds as a senior midfielder where she had 62 goals and 15 assists for a total of 77 points on the year.   Erica, who was named to the 2008 Landmark All-Conference First Team, also had 57 ground balls, 57 draw controls and 11 caused turnovers. Erica set many school records including most goals in a season (62), most assists in a single game (4), most assists in a season (15), most points in a season (77), most ground balls in a season (57), most draw controls in a game (10), most draw controls in a season (60) and most draw controls in a career (155).

During the summer of 2011, 2012 and 2013, Erica was the head coach of the Philadelphia Maccabi Girls Lacrosse team where they competed at the JCC Maccabi Games in Philadelphia, Rockland, NY and Orange County, CA, respectively. During the 2012 and 2013 games, the team was successful in winning the gold medal.
