Liz Martin starts her fifth season as the Neumann Women’s Lacrosse head coach in 2024 and first season as the Shamrocks 2029 Girls team head coach.
In 2022, in her first full season at Neumann, Martin led Neumann to a 9-8 overall record, 3-2 in the Atlantic East. The Knights advanced to the AEC semifinals. (The 2020 and 2021 seasons were cut short due to Covid. )
Martin came to Neumann after years of experience coaching lacrosse across the region. She has worked at both the Division I and Division III levels collegiately, most recently at Rutgers University – Camden where she served as both an assistant and head coach in her four years involved with the team. Additionally, Martin also has over eight years of experience as a Division I assistant, helping to guide programs at Marist College, University of Delaware and Saint Joseph's University.
In addition to her coaching expertise, Martin was also a standout performer herself in both soccer and lacrosse at Temple University. The 2004 Temple graduate was named a First Team All-Atlantic 10 performer in lacrosse in both the 2001 and 2002 seasons, while also being named the Atlantic 10 tournament most outstanding player in each of those seasons. Her performance on the field also helped to lead the Owls to the NCAA tournament in both of those seasons.
Veronica is a wife, girl mom, fitness studio CEO, group fitness instructor, private athletic trainer, full time mom, and kid uber, lol. She is very excited to join the Shamrocks family and bring her love, passion, and knowledge of lacrosse to the 2031 girls Shamrocks team.
Coach Veronica was a 4 year defensive starter for Division I lacrosse at Temple University from '97-'01. She was a ground ball leader every season and caused many turnovers leading to assists & goals scored. She helped lead the Temple Owls to the NCAA semifinals in '08 and consecutively the NCAA playoffs the following years, as well as 3- Atlantic 10 division championships. In high school she was named All County, MIP for Ward Melville HS, and played on select teams for Suffolk County and Long Island School Girls. She was a 3 sport athlete playing soccer, running winter track, and lacrosse.
Currently, she sits on the Monroe Lacrosse board and has coached for 4 years with the Monroe Braves lacrosse team. She has coached competitive travel soccer for 5 years advancing her team in flights and leading her team to trophies & medals in tournaments. In Spring 2021 she led her girls travel soccer team to champions in the South Jersey Cup games. She loves teaching kids' sports, developing their love for the game, working hard and having fun doing it.
Coach Eric Sinone has been a part of the Shamrocks family since 2018 when his oldest daughter, Madison, joined the 2022 team. A year later his younger daughter, Maren joined the 2025 team. This is his first-year coaching for our program, but it is far from his first-year coaching lacrosse. Coach Eric began coaching lacrosse 10 years ago for the Clearview Lacrosse Club. He then continued coaching at the youth level for Millville Youth Lacrosse and Small-Town Sticks. He is Level 2 certified through US Lacrosse.
Coach Eric has worked for the Federal Government as a material handler and recreational specialist for 25 years. In addition to lacrosse, he has coached baseball, girls' softball and travel soccer.
